Antique Riding Crop

This is a fine riding crop made in 1916 and assayed as sterling silver in London. The crop was crafted by J. Howell & Co; cane & stick manufacturers of Old Street, London EC. It has an antler handle and the hallmarked silver collar sits between the handle and the Malacca shaft of the Crop. The Malacca shaft has a lovely patina achieved with it’s age. The tongue and whipping are original which is rare for an item of this age, showing some wear to the leather.

 The crop measures 67cm in length. 

This item of power would look authoritative in the hand of any dominant man or woman and will let the subservient submissive partner know without doubt who is in control
