Drawing inspiration from the Le Chabanais house of pleasure in 19th-century Paris, this opulent corset offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the 1950s Merry Widow Basque. Meticulously handcrafted in rich duchess satin and adorned with delicate metallic gold Chantilly lace from the House of Solstiss, it introduces a flirtatious frill for added volume at the hips, beautifully accentuating the waist.

The corset's padded wired cups create a dramatic plunge and combines sharp V-shaped angular edges with the softness of lace. True to Sian Hoffman's corsetry, it achieves a delicate balance between couture style, beauty, and sculptured control.

Designed for figure confinement and accentuation, this corset employs rigid, boned panelling for firm control over the stomach and waist. The addition of strong, stretch powernet ensures comfort and flexibility, while the traditional cotton coutil lining enhances the corset's structure.
